Dan Kavanagh is a British rock drummer working across touring, recording, and education. Alongside these projects, he has recorded with artists including Red Racer, LTNT, Jasmine Rodgers, Camilla Kerslake, and Big Mono, contributing to two UK No.1 singles.
In addition to band and session work, Dan writes and records production music for a range of libraries and record labels, and works extensively with hybrid and electronic drum setups for both studio and live environments.
He was recognised early in his career by Rhythm magazine as one of the “Top 10 British Drumming Newcomers,” described as a “hard-hitting rock fiend juggling two intense gigs,” and has since featured in multiple Rhythm articles, including a cover. Dan also contributes educational and editorial work to Rhythm and Drumeo, with features on iconic drummers including Phil Collins, Neil Peart, and Dave Grohl.
